Central province to host festival at World Heritage sites

A week-long festival with cultural activities in central Quang Nam province’s two World Cultural Heritage sites and other areas will take place March 21 to 27.

Many unique cultural activities at My Son Sanctuary, Hoi An ancient town and other towns are planned for the Heritage Itinerary Festival 2005. 

According to organizers, tourists can witness the Cau Ngu marine festival at Cua Dai port of Hoi An where locals pray for a successful fishing season. In addition, folk games, art exhibitions and seminars on culture preservation will be part of the festivities.

In addition Vietnamese sailing boats will be restored at Cham Island for tourists to see for the first time.
