New cheap air route to Vietnam open

Thai Airasia will open an air-route with cheap fares from Bangkok, Thailand, to Hanoi in mid-October.

The first flight is to take off on October 17. The Thai Airasia is due to use Boeing 737-300 with 148 seats for the economy class and business class.

A single ticket will cost about US $40. The airline is asking the Vietnamese government to open a route from Bangkok to Ho Chi Minh City, the biggest hub of Vietnam.

This will be the second airline offering cheap flights to Vietnam following Singapore’s Tiger Airways.
