Security guards for tourists in Hochiminh City

Earlier this week the HCM City People’s Committee agreed to a plan mapped out by the city tourism authority to establish a team of security guards to support foreign tourists.

In the short term some 100 members of the HCM City Voluntary Youth League would be recruited for the job. The security guards help foreign visitors to the city avoid street vendors, beggars, and provide support in case of lost travel documents.
