APEC meetings cause over-booking in 4 and 5
stars hotel in Hanoi
The APEC Summit officially takes place
in November 2005, but there are some
pre-meeting occurs from 20 February to
03 March 2006, and November 2006.
Sofitel Metropole, Hilton Hanoi Opera
and some other 4, 5 stars hotels are
chosen to accommodate APEC delegations.
It is quite difficult to make the
bookings in the selected hotels during
the periods and hotels also tend to keep
their rooms to sell at rack rate at that
very peak times. For new requests, it is
better not to recommend your client
those high times.
