--- Bac Ha ---

Bacha is the biggest and most famous hill tribe’s up market in the North of Vietnam. About 10 montagnard groups live around Bac Ha. It seems that every one attends the market on Sunday, because not only people that need to do trade attend, people go also for chatting, making friend… and wine drinking.

The highlands around Bac Ha are about 900m above sea level, making it somewhat warmer than Sapa. One of Bac Ha's main industries is the manufacture of alcoholic brews (rice wine, cassava wine and corn liquor).
