Day 1. Arrive Ho Chi Minh City

Arrival in Ho Chi Minh City, welcome and transfer to the hotel. After check-in, set out on a city tour of the former capital of French Indochina, once known as Saigon. Historic landmarks include the Old Saigon Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Reunification Palace, the War Museum and the ethnic Chinese district of Cholon. Dinner at a city restaurant and overnight at the hotel.

Day 2. Saigon - Cai Be - Chau Doc  

Morning departure for Cai Be by private vehicle, where you will board a boat to the Mekong Delta city of Vinh Long. Discover the languid charm of the fabled Mekong River as you explore the quaint byways and floating markets. On the way, stop off for lunch in the orchid garden of local artist Nguyen Thanh Giao. Pick-up upon arrival in Vinh Long for transfer to the hotel in Chau Doc, deep in the Delta. Free evening and overnight at the Victoria Chau Doc hotel.

Day 3. Chau Doc  

After breakfast, a cruise takes you near to the Cambodian border, where you can observe the tranquil rhythms of life in Cham/Khmer fishing villages. Back to the hotel for lunch. In the afternoon, visit Sam Mountain and the numerous places of worship that make Nui Sam a famous pilgrimage destination (including Ba Chau Xu Temple, Tay An Pagoda and the Thoai Ngoc Hau Tomb). Dinner and over night at Victoria Chau Doc hotel.

Day 4. Chau Doc - Can Tho  

In the morning leave Chau Doc for the vibrant Delta city of Can Tho. After lunch at the hotel, cruise the tributaries of the mighty Mekong, stopping off to observe the daily routine of river communities and enjoy exotic seasonal fruit in a local garden. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 5. Can Tho  

In the morning, set out on a boat trip to the lively floating markets of Cai Rang and Phung Hiep. Stroll the riverbanks before traveling to Soc Trang to visit the Doi and Dat Set pagodas. Drive to the Thot Not preserve in time for sunset, when thousands of white storks return to their nests. Transfer back to Can Tho for dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 6. Can Tho - Ho Chi Minh City  

Free time to relax at the swimming pool overlooking the Mekong before transfer back to HCM City. Arrive in the afternoon, then enjoy free time for shopping at the city's many markets and elegant boutiques. Overnight at the hotel in HCM City.

Day 7. Saigon - Phan Thiet  

In the morning depart on a three-hour drive by private vehicle for the coastal town of Phan Thiet, 200 km from Ho Chi Minh City. Arrive before lunchtime, with the rest of the day free to enjoy the 10 km-long beach in the middle of a beautiful palm grove. Overnight at the resort.

Day 8. Phan Thiet  

In the morning, pay a visit to a traditional fish sauce factory before heading to the photographed golden sand dunes of Mui Ne. After a stop at Mui Ne village, back to the resort. Rest of the day free, overnight at the resort.

Day 9. Phan Thiet  

In the morning, travel by car to White Lake. Enjoy the beautiful landscapes on the way before arriving at the lake nestled in the sand dunes. Back to the resort, where the rest of the day is free for leisure. Overnight at the resort.

Day 10. Phan Thiet - Depart Ho Chi Minh City

Transfer to Ho Chi Minh City in time for last minute shopping. Transfer to the airport for your flight home or to next destination.
